Time Out award winner MANDY KNIGHT and current holder of the Comic’s Comic Award for best MC, has headlined all over the world including Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, South Africa and Rickmansworth and she’s heading to Bobiks to test drive some brand new material.
She has appeared on television Stand-up shows including; Live at Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and The World Stands-Up for the Paramount Comedy Channel.
She was the very first female comic to MC the Jongleurs comedy chain. And the only woman currently compering The Comedy Store in London and Manchester.
Watching Knight is like being punched by an iron fist in a velvet glove. She will leave you insulted but breathless from laughter. She is not for the feint hearted or hard of thinking.
As a television actress, Mandy appeared as a main character in Jo Brand's Like it or Lump it. She has also appeared with David Baddiel in The Baddiel Syndrome and on The Little Big Woman Radio Show.
Her other television credits include presenting various shows including Live Time (a sort of Richard and Judy style show - where she held fascinating interviews with people about things like National Cheese Week) and writing for television for ITV's Des and Mel Show.
She is currently in development with SKY TV with a 6 x 1 hour comedy drama.
She has used her talents as both a stand up and fine character actress to perform three one-woman shows in Edinburgh, London and Sydney:
"I Might Be Single - but The Voices Keep Me Company"
"Some of My Best Friends are Ginger"
"I'm In Love with the Singer from Pulp"
Her latest Edinburgh show “The Dark Knight” has played to sell-out audiences 2017/2018
So yeah, canny impressive eh!?
"A stream of priceless gems" - The Guardian
"New comedy; improved comedy; comedy with wings" - The Big Issue
"A virtuoso comedienne" - The Independent
